Anthropic launched Claude Marketplace on 23 September 2026, a single place inside Claude where businesses browse more than 2,000 connectors and plugins, buy Claude powered products from partner companies, and find consulting firms to help roll out AI. For teams already using Claude, it turns scattered tool hunting into one catalogue.
What did Anthropic announce?
Starting 23 September 2026, Claude Marketplace brings three things into one place: connectors and plugins for tools like Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion and Salesforce; Claude powered products from companies such as CrowdStrike, Cursor, Harvey, Legora, Lovable and Snowflake, payable from a business's existing committed Anthropic spend; and consulting partners such as Accenture, Boston Consulting Group and Deloitte who can help a company plan its AI rollout. Anthropic says more than 2,000 connectors and plugins are already listed.

What can a business actually do with it?
- Add a connector for a tool you already pay for, such as Google Drive, Notion or Salesforce, so Claude can read and act on real company information instead of only chatting.
- Buy a Claude powered product, such as a security or coding tool, using budget the business has already committed to Anthropic, rather than a fresh purchase order.
- Bring in a consulting partner to plan a wider AI rollout across departments, instead of figuring it out alone.
- The same week, Claude Tag, Claude working inside a shared channel, gained the ability to use a person's own connectors for their own requests, so a private document stays private even inside a shared channel.
Is it useful for a small business?
Yes, mainly because most small businesses already juggle several separate apps, such as accounting software, a CRM and a shared drive, with no easy way to connect them to the AI tool they use daily. Claude Marketplace does not remove that work, but it does put the connectors most small businesses actually need, Google, Microsoft and Notion among them, in one searchable list instead of scattered documentation pages. A small business will not spend at the committed budget tier the way an enterprise does, but knowing which connector to switch on for the accounting package or the shared drive is often the harder half of AI adoption for a small business, in our experience running these workshops.
Also today
- Claude Tag now lets a person use their own connectors, such as their calendar, drive or CRM accounts, inside a shared channel without exposing them to teammates who cannot open the same files (Claude by Anthropic, 24 September 2026).
- Anthropic cut the price of a cached token on Claude Opus 5.5 by 60 percent for usage billed by the token, aimed at the long, context heavy coding sessions that have become more common since March 2026 (Claude by Anthropic, 24 September 2026).
What to do this week
If your team already pays for Claude, spend ten minutes in the new marketplace checking whether a connector exists for the accounting, CRM or drive tool you use daily, that alone can save the copy paste work most staff still do by hand. If your business has not started with AI yet, the growing list of ready made connectors is one more reason integration is getting easier, not harder. In our Master Claude AI for Business Productivity program, we walk Sabah business owners through exactly which Claude connectors and Projects setup fit their own paperwork, so the tool works on real company documents from day one.
Common Questions

- Can a small business in Malaysia use Claude Marketplace?
- Yes. Any team on a paid Claude plan can browse the marketplace and add connectors for everyday tools such as Google, Microsoft and Notion.
