Free Webinar: What Is Vibe Coding, and Can You Really Build An App Without Learning to Code?

    Quick Summary

    • AI Vibe Coding Webinar: free, one hour, Wednesday 12 August 2026, 8:00-9:00 PM Malaysia time, online via Google Meet, capped at 100 seats.
    • "Vibe coding" means describing what you want in plain English while an AI coding assistant, Claude Code, writes the actual software.
    • In the hour, Edison Chua explains what vibe coding is and shows it happening live, so you can see whether it fits how you work before committing to anything.
    • It is a taster for the full Vibe Coding Mastery workshop, a paid two-day, hands-on program on Saturday and Sunday, 22-23 August 2026 in Kota Kinabalu.

"Vibe coding" has been showing up everywhere lately, and if you are not a programmer, it is a fair question to ask what it actually means for you. So we are running a free, one-hour webinar to explain it properly and show it happening live, no jargon, no assumption that you have ever touched code. It is on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM Malaysia time, online, and it is completely free.

What is vibe coding, in plain terms

Vibe coding is the idea that you can describe what you want built, in plain English, and an AI coding assistant writes the actual software for you. You are still the one deciding what the tool should do, how it should look, and what data it should use. The AI, in our case Claude Code, handles the technical part: the actual code. You do not need to know what a function is or how to set up a development environment. If you can explain an idea clearly, you have the main skill this requires.

Why this matters if you run a business in Sabah

Most small and medium businesses here have wished for a tool at some point: a simple dashboard to track sales, a way to log orders without a messy spreadsheet, a small internal system that fits exactly how the business actually runs. Historically that meant hiring a developer, paying for generic software with features you never use, or living without it. Vibe coding closes that gap. It will not turn you into a software engineer in an hour, but it can show you that building a real, working tool is now a conversation, not a quotation from a developer and a long wait.

What the free hour actually covers

This is a one-hour, introductory session, so it stays focused. I will explain what vibe coding is and is not, walk through where tools like Claude Code fit alongside things you may already use like ChatGPT or Gemini, and build something live on screen so you can see the process for yourself, not just hear about it. There will be time for your questions too. It is deliberately a taster, not the full training, so you can decide if this is worth going deeper into before spending a single ringgit.

The webinar is an introduction. Over the two days you build a business dashboard on your own real data, a way to run parts of your business from Telegram, and automated workflows plus an internal chatbot. Pricing is RM2,997 per pax, or RM2,497 per pax when two people register together, and it is HRD Corp claimable. Full details are on the Vibe Coding program page.
