AI Tool Mastery for Work Productivity: Kota Kinabalu, 17 and 24 Nov

AI Tool Mastery for Work Productivity is a one-day, hands-on class in Kota Kinabalu for office teams. It runs on Tuesday 17 November and Tuesday 24 November 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and it is taught in English. Pick one Tuesday. The fee is RM788 per pax, HRDC-claimable.

Who is this class for?

Professionals, managers, business owners, HR officers, admin staff, finance staff and general office staff. You need basic computer skills. You do not need AI experience. Explanations in Malay are given where needed.

Which tool for which job?

Many people use one AI tool for everything and get uneven results. This class puts four tools side by side: ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork and Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM).

In the last session you run the same task through each tool and compare the results. Then you write your own which-tool-for-which-job guide, based on your own work. Claude Cowork is where you hand over a multi-step task and review the result. Gemini Notebook answers from the documents you give it.

What will you practise during the day?

Every session ends with an exercise on your own work. Lunch is from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.

• 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM: set up ChatGPT and Claude for business use, handle company information safely, and write prompts that give usable output.
• 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM: HR, admin and finance tasks, such as job adverts, onboarding messages, meeting notes, SOPs, spreadsheet summaries and simple reports.
• 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM: research, proposals and reports, including how to check the sources.
• 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM: load your own documents into Gemini Notebook and turn them into presentation slides.
• 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM: keep company knowledge in Projects, and build Skills and reusable workflows for tasks you repeat every week.
• 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM: hand a multi-step task to Claude Cowork, compare the tools on the same task and write your 30-day action plan.

What do you take home?

• A set of tested prompts for your own recurring tasks.
• First drafts of one HR task, one admin task and one finance task, plus a proposal or report outline.
• A presentation deck built from your own documents in Gemini Notebook.
• One Project loaded with your company context.
• One reusable Skill or workflow for a task you repeat.
• Your personal which-tool-for-which-job guide and a 30-day action plan.

What should you bring?

Bring a laptop (Windows or Mac) with internet, a charger, and a Google account for Gemini Notebook. Bring a few work documents that are not confidential. Sample files are provided if you prefer. How you get ChatGPT and Claude access for the class is confirmed at registration.

Always use copies or sample files, and never paste anything your company does not allow. The class covers handling company and personal data safely, and checking AI output before you use it.

Fees, HRDC and seat changes

The fee is RM788 per pax. NextGen Training Academy is an HRD Corp registered training provider and helps with the claim. Your company applies to HRD Corp at least 3 days before class, and we advise 10 or more days. There is no pair price and no group discount.
